POS Switch Navigator guide

What to export before changing your dry-cleaning POS

This guide is educational and evidence-limited. It does not recommend a vendor, promise migration success, or replace a vendor confirmation and an operator-run cutover plan.

Records and relationships

  • Export customer identity and contact fields, consent records, price lists, credits, balances, and payment references where permitted.
  • Export open orders, completed order history, garment notes or images, and the identifiers needed to reconcile records.

Operational proof

  • Capture route schedules, delivery instructions, employee activity, accounting connections, printers, scanners, scales, terminals, lockers, and assembly dependencies.
  • Preserve a read-only copy, document the format and retrieval date, and test that a sample can be opened before switching.

ValetLoop boundary

ValetLoop is property-program software for established dry cleaners. It can provide a resident-facing property page, scheduling rules, and a property-grouped operational handoff; it does not replace the core POS, price garments, manage production, optimize routes, operate lockers, or collect resident garment-care payments.

Next step

Put one property program into practice.

Answer a bounded set of operational questions and review the resulting evidence-qualified unknowns.
